A fruit of the creativity of Sergio Bicego, the Pixel sofa by is characterized by a series of elements which can be combined freely using an exclusive connector made by Saba Italia. The arms and backrests can be detached from the base to create endless new arrangements. The feather-padded seat cushions feature patchwork covers which highlight the limitless possibilities of mi the fabrics in the Saba collection to create a totally unique sofa every time.
Bed & Breakfast is a sofa which becomes a comfortable bed simply by folding down the backrest. Turning the sofa into a bed is particularly easy because the base is rectangular and runs horizontally on a finger-jointed mechanism to create the extra length needed. The Bed & Breakfast range comprises three elements: the sofa/double bed and the chaise long/single bed which is completed by a pouf (fixed element). The materials used for seat and backrest cushions provide a surprising effect when we sit down because, despite its rather severe look, Bed & Breakfast is unexpectedly soft and springy, the result of advanced research into new-generation materials which give maximum comfort with optimum resilience. The maxi throw cushions can be used full-length as a small quilt.
Livingston creates a surprising effect through an unexpected use of the headrest which, by a simple rotation, becomes a comfortable backrest. It has a “smart” backrest to which a smaller cushion is attached with a zip. The soft, informal seating rests on a light steel base that creates a dynamic contrast with the generous cushions. The original, adjustable backrest and its characteristic full-length seat cushions give Livingston a unique silhouette ideally suited to creating an endless variety of arrangements.
