Two months after my summer vacation and before November comes I dream winter vacations! Snowboarding, cozying up to the fire, taking a hot tub in the midst of a quiet snowfall…
– Zermatt surrounded by majestic mountains, the completely new chalet, designed by the renowned interior architect Magali de Tscharner, is without doubt the leading chalet in Zermatt. It is full of light with large panoramic windows to take advantage of the spectacular views and great care has been taken to create a warm and cosy ambience utilising international expertise in lighting design. It sits in the best possible position in the Petit Village area of Zermatt: at the closest point to the town with unsurpassed views of the Matterhorn and Zermatt below.
The spacious chalet features reclaimed wood throughout. Its modern contemporary style with the highest quality natural fabrics is counterbalanced by the symmetry of the furniture to enhance the feeling of warmth and luxury.
The living area on the top floor, featuring very high ceilings and huge bright windows which almost seem to bring you into the heart of the mountains, will fulfil the needs for conviviality of the most demanding guests.
The chalet features a generous and serene wellness area. It includes a sauna, hammam/steam room, a massage room and a relaxation zone that features a fountain and ornamental pond and is clad in luxurious Italian marble. Outside there is a 3 metre square all year heated pool with massaging jets, perfect to soothe the joints after a day’s skiing, or just to relax in the silent warmth of the pool surrounded by fresh snow as the sun sets behind the Matterhorn.
