Grace is a designer by profession and she is into things which are inspirational and which have a story or funky trends in them. She has over 17 years of experience in design and she worked with a firm in Utah before she moved.
One of the rooms which Grace loves in her home is the front room. The room is designed in such a way that it captures anyone’s attention when they enter the home. It is simple and de-cluttered with a hint of plain yet interesting décor. To lighten up the room, there is a big table that features a wood tray which is painted white and grey. To add a playful look to the whole setting, are pink rugs which pop!
Another way in which the room is decorated is by using pillows. The pillows are made of linen and they come in green. There are also large green pillows on the floor to provide sitting space for her daughters who loves playing on the floor.
Another accessory that stands out when you visit Nesting is the bookcase. It is accessorized using art pieces that come in a neutral yet captivating color. The green accents actually go well with the gold typewriter in the room.
One of the ways in which Grace manages to keep her home looking fresh and captivating every time is by changing the art pieces she has and using them in different rooms in different occasions. By doing this, she is able to create a new look in a room easily and without buying new art items. Another simple way of doing this is by putting away the dull winter colors and replacing them with bright summer colors. These can be easily switched when summer is over.
